May 1st of this year the great flood of Nashville sent us packing over to my in laws house.

In the four months that we have sojourned here at my in laws, our time has been enjoyable. I could never have dreamed up better in laws than the ones that God gave me. Papa and Honey have been wonderful. I could not be more grateful to them for opening up their home to my family. Until today every house we looked at on craigslist was a scam or just horrible or the door was slammed in our faces. I can say that it was the most discouraging thing in the world. We then decided that we would move back into our flooded rental after our landlord completely redid it. However that plan quickly headed south when it has taken 4 months just to get the i-beams under the house to raise it. And even then the house is still not raised. All in all everything just seemed to come to a halt. Life was not moving forward and we felt stuck.
Wednesday afternoon my sister in law, Mo-mo, called me about a rental in downtown Franklin. We called and my husband went to see it the next day. We filled out an application and turned it in. Today we found out that we got the house!! GOD IS SO GOOD! SO FAITHFUL!! Tomorrow we go to sign the lease at noon! I cannot wait! The house we are going to move into is the same size as our previous, only it has a basement that is the entire width and length of the house! Oh Father is SO incredibly good!
